From its humble beginning in the end of 2010, Changkat Consolidated Sdn Bhd (established in May 2003) that originally a recycling@scraps@trading based company doing dismantling of old buildings and AP holder by Malaysia’s Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) to export an industrial waste like copper, nickel & stainless steel, has grown to have an idea to dismantle old wooden house and re-furnish the old plank for making the new concept of wooden furniture especially in design and resources.

Now, ArtWood Concept Sdn Bhd (937246-V) was among the first retailers and manufacturers to offer solid, high-quality furniture at a remarkable value without compromising our commitment to the environment. Our Taiping-based company remains dedicated to using reclaimed lumber whenever possible. We sell furnishings for both home and garden, including a wide variety of custom options for residential and commercial spaces.

All lumber comes from the demolition of pre-1920s-era structures. Its re-use diverts countless linear feet of old growth timber from landfills, transforming it into quality solid wood furniture with a unique history.

With our dynamic management team, an energetic workforce coupled together with computerized facilities, we have been able to expand our market to buyers throughout of Malaysia.
